Vaseline Sheer Infusion Launch

"When asked to be part of the Vaseline Sheer Infusion launch, I felt I might be destined for a mission to the moon. Well ladies I was right! This exciting new body lotion range from Vaseline has meant that in terms of cutting edge skin technology, we have well and truly landed. This magic lotion goes where no other lotion has gone before, infusing moisture into every layer of the skin surface and suspending it there. The Vaseline Sheer Infusion range delivers soft, smooth skin with every application. The skin is the largest organ in the body and our protective shield against heat, light, insult and injury. Just as our Generaniums glow when they are watered and nurtured, so too does our skin! So rather than waiting for everything to wilt, I always encourage my patients to be proactive and get moisturising. Dry skin can become flaky, scaly, itchy, cracked and scabby, and can be the slippery slope into skin disorders, which result in you literally wearing your condition for all to see. So just like flossing, glossing, brushing and buffing, we all need to get moisturising. The problem up until now was that many moisturisers simply delivered a quick fix, and then an hour later the skin had dried out again. In addition, greasy, smelly preparations proved impractical leaving marks on our “must have” fashion items and blobs of grease on our important work documents. So most of us give up moisturising, and wait until the skin dries out and becomes ugly and irritated. We then blast it with any old moisturiser we can get our hands on. Prevention is the name of the game. We do our “5 a day” for our bowels, our Bikram yoga to boost our brains, yet most of us never spare a thought for the 6 pounds of skin we are wrapped in. We need skin moisturisation to be a treat, not a task! My favourite fabric is silk. I love its soft feel, its sheer beauty and the way its simply suspends from your skin. The clever brains at Vaseline have now given us silk in a bottle, in the form of Vaseline Sheer Infusion. It infuses the moisture into skin, suspends it into all layers and maintains it there without any greasiness or stickiness. Its scent and its silky feeling mean it is something my patients/people will want to use rather than feel they have to. Like wearing a pair of sheer silk stockings under your pencil skirt, the only clue will be your glowing skin!"
